Sort of, yes. You can run 18str/dex/mag/fth and wield the blueblood sword. It’s a magical weapon that can also be buffed. The toxic swamps everyone complains about are a joke to Faith builds. It would be really nice if Demon's Souls had the Raw upgrade path and buffs like Sunlight Blade and some of the lightning offensive miracles, but that came in later Souls games. It was a slog and took a while, but it the last part of it was a lot easier once I got the Moonlight Sword. I now have a Blessed Claymore +5, a Compound Bow +10, and just need one more Colourless Demon Soul to max out the Adjudicator's Shield. I typically like magic heavy builds, so I wasn't expecting to like this build very much... Faith builds do not really use damage miracles (there is only one!) in Demons Souls. Dark sorceries were another innovation for this addition to the Souls saga. As with any new addition to the series, Dark Magic is sufficiently broken. Place 50 into Intelligence, and 45 into Faith. Dark Magic scales on Faith and Intelligence, but on the lower of the two stats.Level strength 20 and dex 12, then get faith to 40. After that just get vitality and endurance to softcap. If you want to use faith spells you will also need intelligence 15 for mana and magic 10 to learn spells. Start with either knight or temple knight for optimal stats. Do all of this and you will have a 120 SL build.Second Chance, Anti-Magic Field, Evacuate, Cure, and healing miracles ect. are very handy miracles. The toxic swamps everyone complains about are a joke to Faith builds. It would be really nice if Demon's Souls had the Raw upgrade path and buffs like Sunlight Blade and some of the lightning offensive miracles, but that came in later Souls games. | Ccciwrs (article) | Mklesw.
